New (2023) 6920 is super stiff. Is this normal? I have not fired it. Just opened it up to put some oil in it. The cam pin was super tight. On top of being tight, it almost would not come out of the bolt carrier. It almost was stuck hitting the gas thing that sticks up from the bolt carrier. Trying to pull the charging handle was tough too. Really stiff. Is this normal? |

Your new Colt rifle was shipped with the entire rifle coated in a form of rust-preventative that has the consistency of honey. Even the bore of the barrel will look dark and nasty until this preservative is removed. Good luck. |
