Check out the radical difference in lighting characteristics made by simply swapping out the Field-Replaceable Optical Lens of an Elzetta Modular Flashlight. (The same 900-lumen Elzetta Model C133 Modular Flashlight was used in each photo below, only the Lens was changed.) Notice also the "soft edge" beam that significantly reduces tunnel-vision effects and increases situational awareness. No reflector-based flashlight can produce such a beam.
