Has anyone else experienced the nickel boron flaking off the bolt carrier on their FX-9 pistol? The pistol has 60 rounds through it and the coating is flaking on the bottom where it drags on the hammer and on the top where it rubs the upper receiver. The upper receiver shows no corresponding wear marks. It was well lubed with SLIP 2000 prior to firing. Functioning was flawless. The fire control group is an ALG QMS. The factory hammer was defective and would not retain the hammer pin so it had to be replaced.

I haven't had the flacking on mine yet (i'll keep an eye on it), my gun only has about 400 rounds so far.
I have a same hammer pin issue and the same BCG damage from the hammer as you do. The BCG damage has no impact on the firing from what I see. Did Freedom Ordnance replace the hammer or did you?
