You will not notice any difference when looking at the gun. From what I remember, the difference was that an adjustment to the lower in the buffer tube thread are of the lower so that the BCG would not make contact with the lower and cause any marks that some folks saw. Didn't affect function, just caused some small marks in the back of the receiver.
