Question about VERT PDW stock

I'm trying to decide on buying the Vert PDW lower or just the stock.

Are there any lowers that don't play well with the vert stock? Thinking about using an existing Mega Billet GTR-3H ambi.

It is one of the most compatible PDW STOCKS on the market since our guide rods and different lengths so the right side will clear lower receivers with ambi bolt release. Only receivers we are aware of that won't fit are those with built-in QD attachments at the rear of the lower receiver. It is unusually wide and interferes with the guide rod. Not just ours but others as well.

Why is that?

It should say "Use of NICKLE BORON Coated Bolt Carrier may cause damage to the buffer system due to the I.D. (Inside Diameter) of the BCG being undersized"

Some NiB Coated Carriers are not machined to account for the added thickness so the Inside Diameter (I.D.) of the bolt carrier is smaller than .625". This can cause the buffer head to bind, since it plunges into the rear of the bolt carrier and we designed it to fit a .625" hole.

You can run it with NiB Carriers. This warning is to make people aware that ID dimension must be checked. The ID is normally not a critical dimension that people check but in our case that dimension is critical.

I'm very impressed with the coVert stock - seems very solid and well made. Can't wait for my stamp - until then it's going on a carbine to test it.

I may have to buy another!

FYI I have run 2 of these stocks with the Lantac bcg that came in the Gun with the sabre stock. I have seen no problems in them whatsoever. As stated I think the caution comes from the other NIB bcgs I have sworn off several of them not due to size as much as the shit coating on several, I wont name names but they are popular bcgs but have seen flaking, corrosion etc on several. I have not experienced this with the Lantac, it is more expensive but seems to be worth the extra $$$ for the quality. Just my 2 cents, both guns are bad556-lw guns

I can confirm for you the vert works fine on the mega biller lower

I had it on a 3h ambi lower before switching it to a jack lower for stamps which i regret, because mega tolerance and build quality is second to none, and I have never used another receive to the same quality. (Sorry for rant)

The vert stock is also very high quality.

You will love the setup
