I am trying to upgrade my mounting solution for my PVS14. Before I was using the old Rhino 2 mount with a USGI arm but I want something more stable then that setup that won't come off when I pull the PVS14 down. My friend told me to get a Wilcox Jarm and I got one on the way. He also said that I can keep using my Rhino 2 mount but I would need to get this part Here to make it compatible with my Rhino 2 mount. My question is, is this the correct adapter I need to turn my Rhino 2 mount into something that works with the Wilcox Jarm? |

When you get it in you will have to remove the roll pin that holds the current bayonet interface on the Rhino2 mount, take off the bayonet interface, then put on the new dovetail adapter (that you linked above), and ideally reuse that roll pin to retain the new adapter.

Discount code sent via PM Quick tip for roll pin removal: You can put a paperclip inside the roll pin and then pull out the roll pin with pliers without completely crushing it (that's what the paperclip helps with). You should be able to reuse it after the new adapter is installed. Feel free to message me if you end up having any trouble with the install |

I need help, is there a way to tighten the NOROTOS PVS-15/ PVS-18 SOCKET on the rhino 2 mount? I followed Riley's instructions and got the spring off and put the new socket on but even with the lever down the whole way the socket will slide on the rhino 2 mount even though the lever is down. Any ideas? |

Any ideas? Hey OP, glad I was able to get eyes on your mount situation via text. Seems very much like the adapter you got from Optics Planet was out of spec, which is unusual for norotos, but I guess every manufacturer has their tolerance stacking issue sometimes. We did confirm the part numbers just to make sure the right thing was ordered, which it was. Anyways OP, you know you can reach out again if you have any further issues, I'm happy to help |
