Awesome Rifle. Two questions: 1) What year were those made? 2) Do you have any photos/have you considered replacing the black polymer pieces with the UDE ones? |

I have the UDE grip panels, but haven't swapped them out. |

| IIRC there's 30 or 40 PredatOBR's floating around that he laser engraved and donated to a Sheriff's Dept. I don't think there's any special value to them but they are rare. Several regulars here snapped them up when the Dept traded them in. |
The 2nd is not about hunting, it never was. It was put in place for one reason and one reason only. You can't have them, we won't give them up, so get over it.

Colby's OBR actually came up for sale on GB a couple of years ago. It was pretty beat up, but it "came with" a weekend of guided hunting with Colby on his property. ETA: I talked with Ronnie Barrett (at John Rich's house, since I'm name dropping) not long after they did the 50BMG Top Shot episode. Ronnie told me that they didn't even know they were filming the episode with their rifle, but obviously loved that they did. He then told me that I should buy one of his 50BMG, and I laughed at the notion because $8-12K for a gun was absurd to me (at the time). But that kicked off me finding a REC7 and then an MRAD (neither of which I have now). I did eventually get a 50BMG, but not one of Ronnie's . . . . I got one that will actually do better than 6-8 MOA

want to say 1 complete 22lr from UHFO (already mentioned) then maybe the original Siete pistol/rifle (similar setup to Thompson Contender/Encore.... came w/ pistol brace, 10" 308 barrel, stock & 20" 6.5CM barrel) there were 5 for NOLO winners (1 got posted from winner #1) & (another 1 made it to GB, unsure what happened w/ others) & maybe 10 that they had at SHOT & DSC shows (maybe other shows too) but i recall reading something about an FFL throwing a stink about it .... due to being shipped w/ rifle barrel attached & not the pistol one & shortly after... seems they disappeared for a "while". then got completely redesigned chassis & no more pistol |

I don’t even remember it happening. |

I would say the LaRue TwentyTwo from the monthly contest is the rarest. SirJames556 I believe won that one. Very cool. Thanks for sharing. I looks like you got at least part of a SPOTR kit, too. I still have the I-rail and the "Z-Mount" (and the big padded case) from the one I had (actually listed for sale on a different firearms forum). |

All I have is a LT666 1913 to Manfrotto adapter and a Manfrotto ball head. Wish I had the full kit. |

Somehow I manged to wind up with two of the Burnet Co Sheriffs Office PredatOBR's. One had very little rack wear and the other looks like it never left the case. Best $2500 I've ever invested. Attached File |

One was $1500 from SOLGW and the other I found on River of Guns somewhere in Louisiana for $1000. Got it about a year after SOLGW sold them. |
