| Anyone know how many of the Rollmarked SOCOM “Properry of US GOVT.” were manufactured? I know quite a few of the laser engraved were manufactured, but curious about the rollmarked and their value. Thanks! |

Won't. Laser engraving is the trend of the firearm industry. The old way of creating new roll die for new markings and continue to make replacement dies is the past. Too much money to spend on dies and old rollmarking machinery, in comparison to design markings on the computer for laser engraving. However, Colt has a lot of rooms to improve on its current laser engraved/etched markings. A lot of Non-Colt's laser markings are deep and clear while Colt's are shallow and appears more like etching the surface only. |
