The ones I bought a year or so ago from batterystation are every bit as good as SF. Don't know if they were made by rayovac or not back then.

Ordered 30 from here today, hope they're as good as the last ones.

How can you tell when the 10 yr shelf life is up?  I got my package in the mail the other day and there are no expiration dates on the batteries.

Only thing printed on them were "MYQ0"

I'll try to get the date coding posted asap tomorrow.  Typically they're no older than 6-8 months... with a normal storage environment the annual discharge rate is approx. 1-1.5% so even after 10ys. they're still at around 85%.

I don't know what happened that the last batch was 2007 but normally they're never more than 6 months old.  The batch we're running off of now is "MP00" (12/2008).

I just placed a small order and he said stock was low but he still had some. I don't know how many some is but he wasn't sold out (yet).

If you need them now I wouldn't wait around. He said he was expecting more so maybe he will be well-stocked again soon (hopefully before I need to reorder).

HPGO = Oct. 7 2008 production date

Normally they'd be inside a 3-6 month window from the date of order but on rare occassion I use a secondary source and the prod. date is a bit older.  I hope you'll find this "vintage" acceptable.

Thanx Kevin. I will be talking to you soon on some other stuff I need.

Happy with my purchase but I have a question.

Says $17.50 for 12 which I paid.

When I got the package, the menu says $15 for 12, is that a new price? Or an old menu? Or is $2.50 for shipping?
