There is still about a day left in the auction, but the bid is currently at $3,790 for a Siete with 5 barrels...

Even at that price it’s not horrible considering all the barrels that come with it.

Wow, that's way less than "retail".

I wonder if those of us that bought the introductory Siete will have an opportunity to buy the case. Mine currently lives in the BuildAR Pelican case, which is nice but it’s pretty bulky and heavy once all the goodies are in it.

Neat concept I just wish ML would have done the right thing with the stock instead of trying to adapt an AR stock to it. Something similar to the AI or CADEX units would have taken this package over the top. |

Double back to pick up those sales. I def would’ve been in at the original price, or just the action pricing. |

For the production version, was a recoil lug included? If not, you’d need to get one that wouldn’t impact headspace so you could mount in a traditional stock. |

I like it. I would order one immediately for my Siete. Hopefully they will be made available.

It looks like the base price is around $400, before you start adding accessories. I would probably be willing to pay a small premium for the LaRue badging. |

View Quote Yeah, I don't want to discount the work that went into the Siete chassis - it was masterfully done. But to your point, it doesn't really match the style of hunting I typically do. |

does forend come off for easy barrel changes?
eta: looks like forend comes off, BUT aluminum chassis would still be possibly in way of barrel chgs |

I’m not a huge fan of the accoutrement on the bolt knob, but I’m jonesing for a 300 WSM Siete. The MSRP seems fair.

Is it not a quick/change platform?? View Quote The OG Enhanced Siete caliber offerings all use a 0.470 diameter bolt face. The short magnums need a 0.540 bolt face. So you would need a barrel and a bolt instead of just a barrel to run 300 WSM. The "one of these days" is probably just whenever they get around to offering bolt/barrel combos to existing Siete owners. So probably 2 weeks. I would assume it is the same billet action. If so, the same action bar and torque wrench could be used for barrel swaps. You would just need to remove the barreled action (2 bolts) from the KRG Bravo chassis instead of removing only the handguARd (toolless) from the Enhanced Siete. It wouldn't be quite as fast, but realistically I doubt folks are changing calibers often enough where an extra minute or two would be a big deal. I would say the cost savings in the new 'fordable AF Siete is in using the KRG Bravo chassis ($390 MSRP) with LT badging instead of the CNC-machined aluminum chassis on the Enhanced Siete. It looks really sharp, but again I'm kind of hoping to see just a plain teardrop bolt knob when they go into production. |

Getting ready for hunting season and checking zeroes.brining the Siete as the backup gun this year.
Used it last year for a 325yd mule deer shot my steepest angle shot to date. Cold bore was good Attached File Five shot group was a little meh but the horizontal stringing means it’s probably my inconsistency. Attached File |
