I just ordered one of the Special Purchase SLX 1-6x ACSS Aurora M6 S rifle scopes during the Memorial Day sale and wanted to know the circumstances that led to this scope. I'm a little sad that I missed out on that Nova version of this optic, but am looking forward to trying the ACSS. It ticks a lot of the checkboxes on my wishlist for a general purpose LPVO and it makes me excited for the things that PA's engineers are cooking: - Low dispersion glass - Made in Philippines - ACSS & Nova reticle options - 0.1 MRAD adjustments - Under 18 oz - SFP reticle - Excellent price I feel like this gets really close to filling the gap between the SLX 1-6x and the PLXc 1-8x. Is there a 1-6x or 1-8x SFP in the works for those of us who want something a little nicer than the SLX line, but don't want to pay over $1k for the PLXc? PS - has the PLXc Nova MSRP been announced yet? Maybe that's the real answer to my question... |
| The PLxC 1-8x24 NOVA will retail at $1499.99. We currently don't have anything in the works for 2024 that would be in between that, but never say never! There could be something like that coming in 2025. |

Strangely, I actually like the aurora reticle more than the nova reticle as it seems to work better for my eyes (even with the completely useless illumination in the SP aurora). Will definitely buy another SP aurora if they pop up again |
