I just ordered one of the Special Purchase SLX 1-6x ACSS Aurora M6 S rifle scopes during the Memorial Day sale and wanted to know the circumstances that led to this scope. I'm a little sad that I missed out on that Nova version of this optic, but am looking forward to trying the ACSS. It ticks a lot of the checkboxes on my wishlist for a general purpose LPVO and it makes me excited for the things that PA's engineers are cooking:
- Low dispersion glass
- Made in Philippines
- ACSS & Nova reticle options
- 0.1 MRAD adjustments
- Under 18 oz
- SFP reticle
- Excellent price
I feel like this gets really close to filling the gap between the SLX 1-6x and the PLXc 1-8x. Is there a 1-6x or 1-8x SFP in the works for those of us who want something a little nicer than the SLX line, but don't want to pay over $1k for the PLXc?
PS - has the PLXc Nova MSRP been announced yet? Maybe that's the real answer to my question...
