I have a Mk20 tabbed upper set. When it's correctly installed, the handguard doesn't quite cover the entire barrel nut. A little less than 1/32 of the barrel nut is exposed and the tab is more than half way down the channel on the upper. I have contacted G and they are willing to look at to decide if it's within spec. I'm just curious if anyone else has had an upper with a similar fit. The other SD tabbed sets I've assembled fit with much less gap. |
