| I'm currently building another AR in which I want to include one of your triggers. I'm torn between the Eclipse and the competition trigger. Any help deciding? Is there a discount code I could use? |

fmkenner,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, we thought we were ready to post and moderate HIPERFIRE related discussion topics here on AR15.com six months ago; our bad. Now, we're finally ready to go. You made a good choice on the trigger. In fact, the Competition is identical to the ECLipse, except for the finish. We believe you're happy with the choice. If not, we'd like to hear about it. | I'm having problems with one set of springs. Got two sets, red and green. The red set works no issue. In fact its so light and resets so fast it makes me giggle. Now the green set doesn't want to work. Its the heavier set. The only way to get hammer to fall I have to help it along. Is the green set going to give me a lighter pull? Anyway to fix this problem? Do I have to fire a few rounds with red set to break it in before it works? |

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
If this doesn't help contact customer service. The green springs will provide for lower pull weight. When the hammer is cocked, these toggle springs unload the sear. Less force, less friction, lower weight. Because they're stiffer (stronger) than the red springs, the hammer will have a hard time resetting or dropping until the Parkerize finish has worn off allowing for more-free sliding. Recommend you lube toggle pivot points well (hammer and toggle shaft parts) then manually cycle. Once it swings on its own, if will get smoother and faster quick. Again, if this doesn't help, there may be something more going on that we can help you with. |
