When I watched Sootch's video about CMMG's .22 conversion kits I thought what a Great mod to use in my AR's, cheap shooting, practice with the AR platform, win win... Hell, even took these set-ups to the Appleseed shoots nearby for the last 4 yrs only to be disappointed with the reliability, light strikes, failed to eject, failed to feed, bolt bounce hic-cup etc etc.. Yesterday at Appleseed wife and I had both rifles fail b4 lunch and couldn't finish the day I've turned a lot of ppl on to these conversions, probably 20 or more, I have 3 myself, I've given a couple for Xmas presents. Going forward no more 5 star rating, 2 star at best. I'm very disappointed with this product. When I 1st saw Sootch's vid I thought this product was slick, like radio in cars slick, now its more like record players in cars slick..

| I've several of these conversions. All have been reliable. I use Aguila Super Extra (red/gold) or WW/Fed Whitebox. I've probably shot CCI/minimags too, which is likewise reliable. The best part is I've not had any issues switching back and forth from 5.56 to CMMG and back again. Very reliable either way. |
