It seems that both RRA and Springfield Armory colluded with government officials in Illinois to help push more gun control laws for special favor full article is here:

I always recommended your products to friends and coworkers. Always thought you were a stand up/innovative company as well. I remember meeting one of your reps at a hunting/outdoor show in Yorkville IL and I was impressed. But now I am just very disappointed at your stance on the matter. I know you are part of this organization and it is not your official response. I will reserve judgment until the official response is given. But I am sad to see you as a party of this none the less. I was saving up for one of your LAR piston carbines but now I feel as if I'll be spending that money elsewhere unless this whole ordeal is cleared up. If this goes south I'll have to tell mentioned friends and family about your competition that respects the 2nd Amendment. I'm pretty sure certain departments wouldn't mind dumping their RRA rifles for DSA. @ mods, I'm not trying to do a call out, but I do want to make my voice heard. |

Interesting indeed.
I believe they (RRA / Springfield) are at the NRA convention right now. I doubt they are looking at the forum much right now. The show runs through Sunday. The article shows they donated to the IFMA in 2014. Anything since then? What was the IFMA lobbying for in 2014? This? (I have no idea how lobbying really works, so I don't know if 3 years is what it takes for a bill, or if 3 years would be ancient history.) Tagging for an answer. |

SA and RRA will not be getting my money anymore. I have 3 rifles/uppers and ton of the triggers. Very disappointing that traitors still are among us.
