There's some type of black finish inside and out, definitely not chrome though.

I posted the question of what type of steel Larue uses in their Stealth BBL to BING AI. It said their barrels are Stainless Steel and they are Broach Button Rifled. I couldn't get an answer to those questions from Larue sales Tech.
