My Kifaru hiking belt has come to the end if its life cycle and I wanted to retain the buckle for a new belt. It's a 1.5" belt with a .090 thickness. My local gear repair shop doesn't have anything thicker than .044 and I'm having trouble finding that thickness online. has anyone sourced thicker nylon or used a repair service that may have it? I reached out to Kifaru and they no longer make belts and offered no solutions. |

| .075-.077 has been the thickest I've found from a few sources. Curious why .090 is not readily available along with the thinner thicknesses, but things change. I've had the belt for at least 15 years, so maybe I'm being too nostalgic, but I really like the thickness and it never slipped. |
