How did she explain all that damage half way up the trunk of the tree in this photo? Did you mention you encountered "lots of ants" when you removed protectors to her?

She said there were some wounds but nothing that would kill the tree and said everything looks healed.
I told her about the ants and that someone said they were termites and she said there was no termite damage.
