I decided to switch my hunting rifle over to a Grendel this year and I'm glad I did. High shoulder shot and he dropped where he stood. Shot was from left to right with a Hornady 123gr SST out of a 12.5" barrel. Second picture is the outside of the wound. Attached File Attached File |

Can confirm. Have a 12.5" I use during the day and a 16" for night stuff. The 123 SST has been my go to for pigs and deer. Took a small buck this morning with one actually. I will say I don't always get passthrough, which is debatable but just something I've noticed. Blood trails aren't as easy but stuff never usually gets very far so it doesn't matter much |

I put together a Grendel using the PSA $200 bolt and 12" barrel deal. My son smoked a deer using the AAC Sabre Blade black tip ammo. I also was impressed. Attached File |
