Does anyone here fish these rods? I’m looking for a swim jig, bottom contact rod for up to about 1/2oz baits. I’m looking at the Toadface and the BMJ primarily.

Fantastic sticks. When i was building rods, I talked with the owner as well. Stand up guy and really knows his stuff. The toadface is a fantastic rod. My partner has 2 of them and has been happy.

One of them yes, for carolina rigs and larger texas rigs. Its got a great action for either setup. Youll be happy with them. If i didnt build my own, i would be looking at ALX or some of the other "smaller" guys.

My closest fishing partner uses them and loves them. I was right on the line purchasing one for 1/2 ounce jigs or Dark sleepers when I went with a megabass brailist instead.
People swear by ALX... |
