40m has s7-9 noise here. Signal reports for stations heard, SC 59+ TX 58 NH 59 VA 59+ FL 59 OH 59+ NY 59+ AZ 59 I heard a few more but they doubled and I couldn't get the full call sign. Nothing heard on 20m except SC. Thanks Gyprat for net control again. |

Calling it a net tonight for myself on 20M. The primary was very busy, as was everything +/-10KHz. On 14.240 I had the following check-in's: SmilingBandit BJDFL53 And that's it. I'll let Gyprat report out on the 40M check-in's. It was nice to get a few more new call signs in my arfham database this evening

40 was terrible. Sorry guys. It's frustrating when you only hear bits and pieces and have to ask to repeat several times. BJDFL53 was the loudest station on 40 meters. Noise on 20 is only at S1. Weaponeer 1911 was booming here on 20 meters. Also picked up Derek45 there too. Also worked a guy in Colorado who was only running 5 watts on his portable setup (FT-817). Interesting propagation on 40 today. I could hear SCWolverine who is only 50 miles from me. AA777888-2 was much louder on the side of the beam.   . AA777888-2, excellent signal quality! You are very easy to read, even at noise level. Whatever audio processing you are using, leave it as is. |

Several large trees were uprooted by the wind about 100 yards from the antenna. It was a bad storm. I don't use a computer with my radios. All logs are done by hand only. |

There is a computer in the shack but I just don't like using it while playing with radios. It's a distraction.  It's just the way I like it. We all have our ways of doing things. If the majority of participants want me to use a logging software for the net, I will. |
