| Yesterday I was our cutting firewood and in the random thoughts while I was working I recalled Merlin's old threads about firewood processing, tractors, and HF&G forum stuff in general. I always enjoyed his posts. I realized that as far as I could recall, I had not seen him post in a long time. I just checked and saw his last login and post date was 9/23/24. Anyone know what happened to him? Hopefully all is well and he just decided to make an exodus from the forum. |

They develop a mentality that they have “seniority” as long term posters. That often leads them to become rather obnoxious when their “seniority” is questioned. I’m a member of a number forums of different types of interests and I’ve seen it on all of them. I’ve seen it in the Survival topics here as well. I’m going to guess that Merlin ventured into GD and posted in too many controversial topics (maybe as a “senior member”) and it ended in his being banned. I don’t know that for certain….but I think it’s likely. Lots of dipshits in GD. Better to avoid that cesspool. |
