Wynny the Woodcock Slayer was vigorously dashing in and out of scrub brush and brambles in search of quail when she emerged looking like Cujo.  I wiped her down and it seemed to have stopped, resumed hunting.  Then she once again lost primary containment...  My Jeep looked like a murder scene and it took an hour to get it to finally stop.  Looks like she caught her tongue on something.  Anyone dealt with this?  Thanks.

Happens nearly every trip to one of my setters.  It’s like a head injury…they bleed a lot.  Not something I’d worry about unless it’s pooling up in very large quantities.

Wynny is also a Lap Setter  or English Shedder.
