We've had a lot of bad weather the past couple of days with heavy wind and rain from the big Nor'easter. Everything is wet but I figured they would be hunting early tonight with the improving weather. The female took some coaxing since she came from a long way off, but she made the trip. I killed her at 130 yds. First shot was low and had to put a finishing shot in her. I was shooting my 243 tonight and using the Super Yoter. The load was 87 gr. Hornady hollow points. Those things hit hard! Male was 210 yds. DRT. |
