Conex isn't going to do much for the blast wave that will be about 1/2 a second behind the EMP pulse of a nuclear detonation. If you're talking about lightning they are pretty good, steel blocks the magnetic part whereas non-magnetic conductors aren't that good at. Surge protecting everything that comes into the structure with common point grounding is the hard part, get a Motorola or Polyphaser book on grounding and lightning protection. If you're talking about the idea that a high altitude nuclear detonation is going to wipe out everything, I'd suggest getting a firmer grip on reality. |
