[Last Edit: Phobby]
I would really appreciate some guidance on fly fishing around here.
Lures, rigs, locations, etc would be amazing.

Call Kirks Fly Shop. Guy that works in there happily helped me out during my last stay.

In for answers about fishing near Estes, if you get out and find any fish around Estes. I used to fish around there some, in the meadows on the Big Thompson low down in RMNP, and occasionally hiking up to Alpine lakes in RMNP, but have been heading to other parts of the state more over the past 5 years.

In general my go to generic dry in Colorado is either a Elk Hair Caddis, size 16 - 18, a grey parachute adams size 14 - 16, black beetle patterns, and wooly buggers for a streamer.

I love hiking to remote alpine lakes for cutthroat trout, there are some good ones around Estes, let us know what you find.

I'll second Kirks.  Did a guided trip with them. Caught tons of fish. Well worth the $.
