During this hunt, the wind and weather were so bad, by the end of the night I shot a double and the coyotes were partially covered by blowing snow by the time I got to them. You can't kill them sitting on the couch.

Nice shooting as always. Not likely anyone will ever accuse you of being a "fair weather" hunter. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for commenting. It is like clock-work around here during the winter. Some hunters will say, the more wind the better. In summer-fall hunting, maybe due to mosquitoes. In the cold of the North, it is deadly. I was recently on a hunt and here is the summary of my night. I made 3 stands where the wind was 0-5mph, total killed 10 coyotes. I made 3 stands where the wind was 5-15mph and killed 5 coyotes. I made 3 stands were the wind was 15mph or more and killed 0 coyotes. The wind is such a huge factor and unfortunately it is rarely not windy here.
