[Last Edit: Dragracer_Art]
For some reason I have been collecting radios like my wife collects shoes.

Finding good deals... (some of it free) I cant resist grabbing up cool stuff.

Ive actually lost count on all the HT's I have now... and some are actually on long-term loan to nearby family members for SHTF scenarios.

Last week I found a box of VHF xpr3300's at work that were in a closet since 2018 and would have gone in the trash. We upgraded to a UHF trunked system back then so anything VHF is useless to them. The radio company that came out to do the upgrade didnt want any of the old stuff...  so Im more than happy to bring it home. None of them had batteries in them so I grabbed some off Amazon and programmed/cloned them all.

The others are xpr7350's and 7550's which were acquired several weeks ago in a horse-trading deal.

There is also a VHF xpr2500 and two brand new VHF xpr5350e's in my collection and I haven't even gone thru all the junk in the closet... so Im sure there are a few more surprises to rescue from trash can destiny.

That was a consideration... but given the fact some were given to me for free from work, it gets into an ethical situation and I'd rather just keep them all for when SHTF.

Sitting in a box since 2018, none of them will take a charge... so Ive just been buying cheap commie knock-offs from amazon and they have been OK sofar.

Yea...that's how it starts. I've got boxes full of XTLs, XTSs, XPRs, 5100s, 5300s, CDMs, HTs, TKs, VMs and VPs. When I have free time I fire up the service monitor, align them and then put them up for sale on Facebook and eBay.

Came home with six more xpr3300e's yesterday, along with a bunch of impres chargers and a few Motorola 15a desktop power supplys.

I also found a hack online that allowed me to revive the dead batteries in all the radios. Not sure how long they will live off the chargers, but they took a full charge overnight.
Since I bought about a dozen batteries off amazon, Im now swimming in them.
