I got this as a wonderful Christmas gift from my daughter & son-in-law. What a heck of a knive by Schrade - with imitation stag handles, and wickedly sharp too! Schrade Uncle Henry Elk Hunter 182UH.

I’ve got an old Western sheath knife I got as a young scout. Light construction but a good slicer. It’s a nostalgia thing for me so I carry it in the woods a lot. Like my Gerber Strongarm as a general blade and still like my Buck 119. I’ve enjoyed my Becker BK 7. It’s a monster but fun. Overall, I still really like my first one, the Western. Upswept clip point, thinner blade for slicing. Not the greatest steel but just fulfilling to me to use it. |

Only fixed blades I own. The cheesy one came free with a pair of boots, the other I bought. I carry a lock back blade, generally. Attached File |
