Budget is around $250. 8+" tall. What are you wearing? These would be primarily used for fall/spring hunts when mornings and evenings are cool. I would prefer a heavy leather sole over anything else. Bonus if they're fur lined. Additional bonus if they're waterproof. Go!! |

I don't wear them but have listened to them talked about on Gritty Podcast and made by Lone Peak. If you know who Brian Call is than you know he and Ryan Lampers are than you know, they know their gear. Edit - He's worn them several times on his Elk bow hunts in the west. |

| Fur lined and leather sole do not fit the $250.00 bracket. A leather sole is a terrible choice for walking over anything but concrete floors and it won't wear long there. Fur lining will ear off or ball up and drive your feet crazy. Russell Moccasins makes a superrior grade of hunting and stalking boot but are spendy. |
