Rigged up a small hook with a worm, figured on catching a white perch or sunfish to.use as bluecat bait.

Lob it out into 3 or 4 foot of water, turnto.rig a heavier rod, and ZIIING, drag screaming.

Figure it's a carp, but nope, bluecat.

Can't believe line held.

Dispatch and filet, then use a few scraps as bait on heavier rods. Lob them derp.
Another worm, and a minute later, ZIIING, line getting taken.

Another bluecat.

LOL, sunny and 85F must've had them up on the flats. Did catch a few deep, but most shallow.
Caught a couple white cats too.

And eventually, a 3 inch perch, lol.

Funny thing.
Ate a LOT of catfish on Easter.

Tuesday evening, stop by a friend's house, he's a commercial fisherman.

Wife is deep frying catfish, hush puppies and fries.
I overate again.

Tried fishing for baby bass and little bluegill with my son off the dock.  I can't stop the fish from taking the worm off hook.  No matter how small the hook and worm piece.

Try wax worms or a kernel of corn.
