Is this about the best "off the shelf" shotgun you can by for turkey hunting?

Mossberg 935

Is the X-Factor choke sufficient when paired with some Federal TSS?

I wouldn’t say “best”. I bought a Winchester SX4 turkey gun last year and love it. I looked at the Mossbergs. It’s a Mossberg.

My 935 has done its job every time without issue. No complaints from me.

I think the mossberg is without a doubt the best American made option.

I bet it'll kill turkeys real well.

@Hunter8282

It’s almost spring turkey season here in MO and I’m re-reading old threads.

Did you end up buying a turkey gun?

If you don't need the semi auto action I'd look really hard at a Stevens 301. Super light and maneuverable, great to carry all day long. Slap a Sig Romeo 5 on top and you've got a $250-300 Turkey slayer.
