I took my boys out hunting this weekend and they both had successful hunts. The food plot is only 47m away. Rifle is a Ruger american ranch in 300bo. Ammo is Hornady black 208 grain amax subsonic Suppressor is SiCo Hybrid Scope is a cheap Nikon So proud of both of them.  The knife was a gift from my dad that I gave him kn his first deer. He shot it in the neck and the exit was big enough for my fist.  He shot this one in the brain bucket. Entry and exit just below the antlers. I wish we had more time and could wait for some big shooters but this meat on the table. Everything else was yearlings. |
I dont think this is a brains type of operation.
| I forgot to mention; on deer #2 there were several deer at the plot, he dropped this one and there was a slight flinch amongst the other deer but none ran off. If anything else had been worth shooting, we could have gotten a second.... |
