My opening day Pennsylvania buck, a nice 6 point.  I had limited time to hunt PA and I would be crazy to pass this buck up for the area I hunt.

Admitting that you can, will, and do take headshots says nothing of ethics.  Period.  Stop trolling.

Nice bug-eye there san_antonio_fj

Kinda reminds me of the Arnie movie.  gaspin' for air at the end as the alien machine starts pumping air.

Not trolling, expressing my opinion only.  Animals shouldn't be treated as targets for wannabe snipers.  Save that crap for the range.  Done with this conversation, out.

No single pics, but that's our deer pole from the WI regular season.  Mine is the little spike in the middle, shot with a 6.5 Grendel at about 175 yards.  All of them were shot on public land.

I know your little boy is the star of this thread now (and rightly so he is awesome) but I thought I would share my season kills so far. Shot this sow in the head late Sunday before Thanksgiving.

The the next morning I went to a common area ground blind and about eight oclock a nice wide mature 7 comes out facing and looking right @ me @ 135 yards not a shot I take straight on. This goes on for a couple of minutes and if he turns I'm shooting he is five feet from the woods so I won't have long. I'm holding on him for what seems like an eternity but maybe 5 minutes as he starts to turn I squeeze one off. I have never missed completely but I missed this guy clean and to my amazement he is standing frozen still looking straight at me but totally broadside now. I chamber another round and try to steady, and squeeze off another shot,
no kick, jump, nothing he turns around and runs back where he came out from, I listen and hear no crash, and I think I must have missed again!?! I wait a few minutes and walk down to where I shot him and can find no blood, hair tissue nothing I can see where he turned and ran back into the woods and I look briefly in the woods no blood no deer. I spend the next two hours sitting in the blind wondering how I could miss from that range not once but twice? It seemed impossible.
After beating myself up mentally I thought I would look again before walking out, no blood, but when I followed his departure route into the woods I saw where he was running through the leaves toward the bottom. I walked about another 60 yards down hill and there he was, I was relieved. He only had one hit but it was a good shot, went through both lungs and broke his far shoulder and exited.

Congrats on your kill again buddy! I am always willing to help.
I missed this same deer during muzzleloading season and I can't think of a better person to take this buck instead.
We should have taken pics of the amount of fat on this buck. Not too shabby for a Florida deer.

Time for me to step up my game!
Tag for future pics.

I see great mass, and pretty good tine length, but not enough to call that a 200 inch deer.

I'm not saying anyones full of shit, but I'm pretty sure someone got the numbers wrong.

I think there is just alot of confusion out there in measuring a rack and like others have said, pics dont always relay the actual size of the rack.
