Daughter wants to go hog hunting. What’s the best time of year and does anyone have an outfitter recommendation? Doesn’t really matter where as we have to fly from AK. |

Come to the opposite corner of the US of A and hunt with Chappy's Outfitters near Lake Okeechobee. They have a small 2 person cabin you can stay in on the property. If you don't take a hog from the stand that they set you in before daylight (or if you just want to take a second one) they'll load you up on the swamp buggy mid-morning and turn the dogs loose.
