I put this rifle together years ago, its been one of my absolute favorites. Tikka T3, chambered in 25 Creedmoor. Unbelievably consistent shooter, made some of my best shots ever with this rifle. 25 Creedmoor build

| Son’s rifle is a Tikka Alpineveil in 6.5prc. It has killed more game than all the guns in the safe. I loaded some 127 lrx for it this weekend. After not being shot for a year it stacked them in a perfect group. When the barrel burns out it will be getting a new stock and a carbon barrel. |

But have been a little intrigued by 6.5prc for a little added energy down range. Can you comment on how the prc recoil is in the Tikka compared to something like 6 5cm? |

Can you comment on how the prc recoil is in the Tikka compared to something like 6 5cm? Haven’t shot one in 6.5c but have shot a metric shit to of 6.5c in various rifles. The recoil is a little more than the C but not enough to affect most shooters. My son has had this rifle since he was 16 and has never found it to be unpleasant. We do shoot it supressed so the added weight helps. I would put the PRC a little under a 308’s recoil when loaded with the 127 LRX. I am a big fan of the PRC. It kills above its weight. |
