Sucked this year. Hunted WIHA in Syracuse, KS.
Not a lot of birds. And what birds we saw and killed, they were young. Out of a group of 14 and about 15 miles of walking, we only got 5 or 6 birds with about 3 we weren't able to recover/crippled and ran off. Cover was really thick. The roosters stayed put when we pushed. Majority of the roosters got up when we stopped, even from behind us. |

The best hunt I've ever had was on the Syracuse Dairies. Literally birds everywhere. My dad has an in up there, and they tell us to come or not come based on how many birds they have.
That said, your hunt doesn't sound super bad. 9 of us hunted 3 days around Dodge one year, and we killed 2 roosters and 1 quail.
