Just looking at what's out there. I see some places have term limits (five to 20 years), interest rates seem to vary WILDLY, etc. Thanks! |

We have a 17" Cherokee Wolf River something or another. I financed mine through Scott Credit Union, I got a 15 year note, but made triple payments and paid it off in 5. |

When I bought my camper, the finance guy tried to set me up on a simple interest loan. I asked... do you have a compounding interest loan? Guy said what's that. I said, like a car loan. Deer in the headlights from finance guy. Then, I asked... can I bring you a check? Answer was yes. So, I called my credit union that I've been a member of for over 50 years. They had a check waiting on me. CU had better rates and allowed early payoff. Got a 5 year note and paid it off in less than a year. Title is in my safe and Camping World can go F theirself with a cactus!! I really dislike them and won't do business there again. (My first camper. I bought it almost on accident without researching campers or that CW was such a crappy outfit. They were sorry in so many ways during and after the sale.) So, the answer is to find your own financing and leave the dealership out of anything dealing with your money. All they care about is making the sale and not if you get even reasonable financing. They will have their money before you drive away regardless. |
