I've done section J in WA and 1st 20 miles in SoCal, looking to do more. Thinking of mile 20 lake Morena to Big bear mile 266. My gear consists of: in pack. Worn: OR vented ball cap Long sleeve vented t shirt Columbia vented hiking pants Sun gloves Darn tough mid socks with injinti 5 toe socks liners Merrell speed 5 shoes Black diamond treeking poles. |

| Section J of the PCT is probably one of the best hikes in the world. I did it a couple months ago and want to go back. Look at the Goat Rocks wilderness section of the PCT. It is amazing as well. I used a pack by Deuter. Light weight and very comfortable. |
