Successful bear hunt in Michigan this year. 5 hunters. 1st hunter was 1st season, tagged or within a day or 2. Next 4 hunters were all 3rd season, tagged or in 3 days. All over bait. |

It looks like it may be possible to draw a first season tag in a couple areas within a year or two. Do they release how many tags are issued? That give me a better idea of my odds at tagging a bear. |
