Pecron 200W 36V Solar Panel $269 with $50 coupon = $216 plus tax

FWIW Professor Hobo calls the E1500 best buy of 2023 @$899, ordering the power station using a $200 coupon and 200w panel using a $50 coupon separately brings the whole deal in with tax under $1k and is a damn good deal. |

So far, the only thing I've done is charged it up. I tried getting it connected to the app but there was some kind of problem I wasn't able to resolve. I was wanting to reduce the charging current but evidently the app doesn't have that feature yet. I'm also planning to test out the XT60 DC output that's supposedly good for 30 amps to try with my ham radio. While I'm doing that, I'll be using the same 600W solar panel I used to charge my E600LFP and see if the 1500 can absorb the full 600W (the 600LFP input is limited to 400W). So far, I've been impressed with the Pecron stuff. Time will tell how long they hold up. |
|
|
It looks like they pulled the extra coupon code for the E1500LFP. Hope if you were interested, you were able to get one.
The rest are still active as of a couple minutes ago. |

Between this and the banana chips I figure I can make some pretty decent smoothies for the end of the world Thats why I stack a couple cans back. Between some crackers, banana chips, and this peanut butter it would be a good way to give you and yours a nice treat during tough times. I don't have a ton of #10 cans but between my recent mtn house order and a few more on amazon I will have some stacked backed and only a couple need to be rotated in a few years. Plus, I actually like all the stuff so I could crack into a can any day and make some meals, lunches, and be happy eating them. I only have a few MRE cases left from the salad days and probably need to rotate through them sooner than later, but I was never in the service and since I was a kid an MRE was always a treat to me, still is. Maybe its nostalgia of when I tried my first one on a hiking trip as a kid. I am odd though; I can crack open a can of spaghetti o's and meatballs and enjoy it at room temp. It's actually one of my favorite snacks I allow myself to have every other week. |

Ozark Outdoorz have the Humanitarian Daily Rations at $39.95 a case which is the lowest I've seen them for a while. December 2023 inspection dates, and two or more cases ship free.
I've tried all 5 menus and they're actually pretty good for vegetarian food. 2,400 calories per day, and 10 days in a case, so it's good bang for the buck. If nothing else, they're handy to throw in a backpack if you're going for a hike. |

Skallywag
Skallywag Tactical is having a sale on all their knives, plus lots of blems available. That’s where the real deals are. I’m wishing I had picked up a blem MDV when they were in stock. Blems I got several of the $10 Sailor flippers for stocking stuffers. Looks like they have silver and bronze in stock. Not a bad little knife for $10. Couldn’t find any blems. Attached File |

With all the coupons and discounts, that would put the E2000LFP + EB3000 = just under ~$2000 (depending on taxes at your location) for 4,992Wh, vs the Ecoflow Delta Pro with the current $1000 off coupon, at 3,600Wh @ $2600 |

I was ordering some other Xmas presents from there and stumbled across those so figured for less than five bucks a pop I would grab a few. Most of my others are "Tenergy" from battery junction or whatever brand came with whichever flashlight. |

Hultafors Hultan hatchet on Varusteleka for $99.99
https://www.varusteleka.com/en/product/hultafors-hultan-hatchet/66646 According to my limited google research this one usually runs about $150. Similar Gransfors Bruks run well north of $150. As of posting this: In stock 29 pcs. Sold 16 pcs in the last two weeks. This product is unlikely to be restocked and will be hidden from our website once it's out of stock. View Quote I have wanted one this size and style for well over a decade specifically the GB small forest axe but looks like they all run about $200 now. I have several other axes and hatchets but figured the chances of finding one of these or similar for less than $100 this day in age probably won't happen so why not! Even Council tool offerings have gone up significantly in the past few years. The only other Swedish hatchet I own is a Husqvarna which like everything else are always going up in price. |

Energizer headlamp is similar. Comes with a replaceable 18650, 2 CR123A batteries, lamp and strap. I have several I rotate. Some I have used regularly on my 7 3/8" head that the band is beginning to stretch. No complains for 13-16$ price that I paid for them. Black one is stupid high right now, but grey is 16 or so $$. The only "downside" is the USB micro cord, being that USB has become my standard but still no complaint. |

Wise Owl Standard Weight (26oz) Hammock Tarp Kit $11.21
I bought 4 of these the last time they were on sale. They are solid for the $$$. Recommend more/better stakes though. If you buy the entire kit (double hammock (24oz), bug net (16oz) and tarp (26oz)) You are looking at 4+ pounds...but you are only spending around $65. $11.21
$15.19
$36.99 (X-Large) (Smaller size = cheaper/less weight)

I'll have to wait for societal collapse to try a lot of my preps. I still might grab a couple more. Very reasonable for the calories. |
