In long term hunting camps.   Went all September, again, using nothing but solar and a 35AH battery to charge multiple electronics.   Also have the 12v output for tent lights.

Never ran the battery down, despite leaving the interior lighting on twice, all day.

I know this is not GD, but can I still give you a hard time for not showing off at the very least your rifle? Ideally, id like to see/know what you are hunting and if you got anything...

Solar, if used as you described can be very effective.

Archery season was for fun. Rifle season is for revenge.   I humped many miles with bow in hand, came really close to closing the deal a few times.

OK, not in hand now, but I had 3 miles of hiking ahead.

Called in a spike bull right after this shot.  I was going to get a pic, but he had some cows with him, and I would have happily stuck a cow elk.  4 point restriction in this unit.

Typical elk terrain.  You will rarely see them outside of cover.  Steep AF.
