A HUGE Merry Christmas to me from Humongo (Jim), how a great mind thinks shows right here folks, I had actually made mention of the compact Spork a few days ago and how this would be a PERFECT addition to my pack and trail gear....nicely done sir !...and oooohhhh the solo lightweight goodness...I love minimalist stuff, back in the day we used to cut handles off of our toothbrushes and eating utensils. I opened mine this afternoon from robie1, it was packed full of goodness in MULTIPLE ways:
First was a beignet mix. I have never had one, much less made one but after reading up on them on wikipedia, I can't wait to make them. There were also fruit pies from Louisiana, apple, sweet potato and lemon. All of these will be eaten while I enjoy a cup or two of the Louisiana coffee that was included. There was a bag of Voodoo potato chips (these said limited) not sure if they are limited to this time of year or just to robie1's local area. I am sure they will go good with my ham sandwich sammich for lunch tomorrow. Enough about the food. There was also an energizer led headlamp. This will be put in the GHB as it doesn't currently have one. A compass, whistle, magnifying glass multi tool, a 30 round pmag, a day pack, and a saw. All in all an excellent package. Hope everyone had a great Christmas. Opened the package I got from riggins today. had a great time opening the ones that were mine...( he sent my boys their own gifts which they LOVED!). Read the card that accompanied the gifts to my boys before we opened the gifts, and the story behind them really made us appreciate the wrapping, especially as a father.

Great gifs. Me and the boys each got a pouch. Mine was a greatly upgraded version. They all had a survival tin, button compass, small squeeze bottles, mini lights, flashlights (though mine is 210 lumens), and the boys had a Gerber mini tool and survival whistle. The wife got a tin with teeney little bottles in it and a button compass. Riggins also sent a jar of his favorite Texas seasoning which will go on some steaks I will grill this week. He also sent a can of Yoders Bacon (YAAAYYYYYY!) I also received an AR15.com poker chip and a bolt face logo which will be going on my truck window in the morning––- Thanks riggins. Great and thoughtful gifts I couldn't be happier with all of them, the boys thank you too. My 9 y/o has already put other survival items in his pouch and I will be adding to them this week. |

I did not take a pic yet but Nick has exceeded my expectations. We swapped numbers and talked before swapping gifts. It makes it a lot more personal when you can learn a little about the person you are matched with. I was slow shipping his will be there next week. I am ready to do it again.
