Going to buy a few extra mags for the 455 .22LR. Do you all recommend the polymer or the steel (if they even make steel mags for this rifle)?

I have steel and polymer. I prefer the polymer the feed lips don't bend when you drop them.

They both work well. I prefer the steel magazines. If I drop them, I take care not to drop them on concrete. Haven't bent a feed lip yet.

I've not had any problems with the polymer mags in my two 455s.

I use two polymer 10 rounders and two polymer 5 rounders with mine. Zero issues to date. I'd like to try the metal ones for the sake of it but nothing wrong with the polymer ones.
The biggest problem with the 455 mags is the prices. I really never see them on significant sale anywhere. |

My preference is for the five round polymer magazines. I like the flush fit on my 455.
