I have zero experience with precision or high power optics. Slowly building my setup to enter the world of precision .22 and just put a DNT Optics TheOne 7-35x56 on my CZ 457 Varmint. Going from the 1-4 on my shotgun to this thing feels like going from a tricycle to the space shuttle with no training manual. Can anyone point me toward a good tutorial (either book or video) on using high power optics in competition? I know there's a thousand things online but, I'm looking for more than a 20 minute overview. Thanks |

Before zeroing the scope, be sure to carefully set the diopter. Before shooting each new target, be sure to carefully set the parallax knob to remove parallax error. Learning a long range scope on a 22lr is a great and affordable way to build skills. |
