I've been using my SCAR 17 as my DMR for a year or so, but recently picked up an LMT with a 16" barrel. It shoots incredibly. Love it. I have a 13.5" barrel for it that I'm debating using.

I have plenty of class 3 SBRs, suppressors, and transferrables, so that part is a non-issue for me, what I'm concerned about is loss of accuracy. I shoot this rifle 100% of the time suppressed.

I mostly shoot 100-300 yards, and I know the shorter barrel is going to give less dwell time, what I'm looking for is real world experience. Is the shorter barrel going to be that big a detriment? Looking for better handling package without loosing too much.

Thanks!

Curious about the benefit of dropping ~2.5" of barrel length?  I know KAC SR-25's seem to shoot well at 14.5".  Debated going that route but NFA for 1.5" less OAL isn't really worth it to me.
