Got sick of sharing a lower. Just built up (most of the way) as second MWS lower because why not?  I love these rifles…

The MLOK/LW barrel setup is surprisingly light for a MWS. The 20” 6.5CM quad is another story. Also have a 20” .308 barrel and Atlas bipod for it. Need to pick up a MK5HD for it since my MK6 is on the TRG now.

Buffer tube kit on the way. Settled on a B5 precision stock to finish it out. Last is to pick an optic. The MK5HD 3-18x is the obvious choice, but I may look at 2.5-10x42 Nightforce milR if I can find one for a good price.

Getting there…. May swap the atlas for a Harris. Really interested in checking out this Vortex Strike Eagle 3-18x. The features are there. We’ll see if it performs…

To clarify…I found a Vortex Strike Eagle 3-18x with the mil reticle for $510 at the Ft Belvoir PX. Going to run it through the paces and then move it to a 5.56 SPR and buy a MK5HD down the road.

Interesting optic. Typically the Strike Eagle line is budget but looking at the current offerings, that doesn’t appear to be the case anymore. It looks like these have much better glass.

I have a 10.5" barrel pistol and it is a really nice gun. I haven't used the barrel swap feature really, but it is nice to know you can if you really want to.

I kind of did the same thing. Bought a MWS then when the MARS-H lower came out I purchased one.  Since I had a spare lower I built another MWS with the 15" upper.  Then I bought a KAC SR-25 22" 6.5 creedmoor in FDE and bought another MARS-H lower in FDE.
