24" Stainless Bull Barrel Model1Sales sells the barrels. Many people think very lowly of Model1Sales' products, but these barrels are made by ER Shaw, a high quality bolt action barrel maker. I've got maybe 175 rounds through it and it shoots very well. The fit and finish of the barrel, the fluting, and the muzzle threading looks amazing. Anyways, what I've got going is... -Stag lefty upper assembly -Anvil Arms lower w/ Stag LPK and custom Coyote engraving -what else would you like to know? |

My latest Recce incarnation: CMT upper receiver with M4 cuts GTS 16" Recon barrel Troy 10" rail LaRue bipod adapter and Harris 9-13 notched/swivel bipod S&B Short Dot in LaRue SPR-E Troy Rear BUIS / M.I. Front BUIS TLR-1 w/ remote switch RRA lower with two stage trigger Magpul MIAD grip Magpul CTR stock While I haven't shot this thing for groups it seemed to do very well with the PP 75gr match I used last weekend to shoot some steel with. I placed three well aimed shots on a steel IPSC target at 288 yards that was easily sub-MOA, they were the last three rounds of the day so I was pretty happy with that. |

Details: GTS lower, CMT LPK, Timney skeletonized 3lb trigger, MagPul MIAD and enhanced trigger guard with my button head cap screw mod and a Vltor EMOD stock. CMT A3 upper, BCM BCG, CMT charging handle with PRi big latch, LaRue SPR-1.5 mount, LaRue 13.2 tube, RRA 20" Varmint, 1-8 twist, wylde chamber, turned to 1" OD under the handguard, 0.875" gasblock journal and 0.860 the rest of the way to match the Smith Vortex G-6. Still need to pick a scope. Im leaning towards the Bushnell 4200 6-24x50 or I may save up and go Lup or Nightforce. Barrel    All the parts ready to go.  Timney trigger.  The fight to assemble is over!  All done!      |

Latest photos as requested of the long range .223....I have removed the DPMS Hi-Rise upper and added a thick-walled VLTOR flattop with a 15MOA rail. It was shooting 0.5MOA and less at 300 the other day with 75gr Amaxes, might have to make that load the next video project. Specs: Factory DPMS Super Bull 24" 1:8 with the following upgrades:
