For me it was 1k yards 2 weeks ago.
Last Sunday, five of us went out to the Ojito Wilderness and hit a target from 1602 and 2180 yards. Rifles that did it: My Bergara B-14 HMR 6.5 Creedmoor A custom 6mm BR A Tikka T3X 260 Rem A Desert Tech SRS 300 Norma Mag It took me 5 rounds from 1602 and 4 from 2180. Ammo was Federal 130gr Berger Hybrid Tactical. Scope was Vortex Viper PST Gen2 5-25x50. I was not confident that it would work but I was very happy that it did. What's your longest hit? |

| Today was my first opportunity to shoot at a range beyond 400 yards. I was able to make multiple hits at 1000 yards on a 3 MOA target. Rifle was a Bergara B-14 HMR shooting Hornady 140 grain ELD Match ammo. |

2 hits in a row from 1500m with a .22lr (witnessed), cold bore & follow-up shot, against a disused high tension power pylon, standing, open sights, mixed ammo.
1 shot/1 kill, crow 2km, .22-250, standing + scope, first shot (witnessed). 1 shot/1 kill, literally hundreds of times, Jennings J22 pocket pistol, remington thunderbolt ammo, head shot on cottontail rabbit from >100m. Those were the impressive ones. I've gone to 2km on steel enough times that it's not that exciting anymore. Usually takes me 2-3 shots to get on steel at 1.6km or more. Up to about 1400m I can usually cut a shot off that number. That of course is not what happens in competition but only during casual shooting. In competition we all lose our minds and can no longer shoot nearly as well. |

One for two on a 20” square at 1170 yards Saturday in terribly swirling winds.
ETA stage info This was the toughest stage of the day, average score was 2.5 out of 10 shots. I held a few tenths right for the first two hits and had to hold half mil left for the last hit at 1170 yds. Attached File Attached File |

1K
Im a member of a range that stretches to 1K so I had dope that far. At a sniper challenge match last year I connected with a 36in round gong at 1K with my first shot. We moved back to 1200 and I missed. I had no idea what my dope would have been at that distance. |

42" square at 1730yds in a local mile shoot put on by some good ol' boys. We're 30yds shy of a mile, but we run out of hill for a backstop. 26" 338LM pushing a 285gr ELD-M at 2892fps with 96.0gr of Retumbo. Have shot the match twice now and was on in 3 the first time and 2 this last time. Both outings gave two windows of shooting on the 1730yd target with 4-7rd groups being in the 20-30" range for all four swings. |

400 yards confirmed on Ca ground squirrel. 600 yards on a Ca jack rabbit.
Best group @800 yards with 5 shots into an area point of aim that I could almost cover with my hand. 3 shots perfectly horizontal in the width of a 5 dollar bill and 2 shots high from the center. Shot in a wind thatbrequired 5.5moa of left windage. Doubt I will ever shoot a group that good again. Was nce that it was witnessed by a friend. |

Just gave 1k a shot for the first time ever a few weeks back. Warmed up just under 500, dialed for 1k according to Strelok. Put the first five on the backer of a 4x4 target and went 13/15 overall - just couldn't hold it together with bad mirage and switching winds. Didn't put any in the black but held 1.6X MOA overall. Did a lot more brass sorting and prep and will give it a try again next time conditions are right to see what I'm actually capable of. Aero Precision 20" rifle gas upper on a mixmaster lower, Leupold VX-R Patrol 3-9 with handloads (77gr TMK, 8208XBR and CCI 450 primers). Dakota Silencer TI can. ETA: we have very, very few places to shoot that kind of distance around here but shooting partner and I found a spot. My intent with this rifle was to be coyote capable out past 500 yards; I was able to shoot .65 MOA at just under that, so it should be ready to do some damage next year. |

3 consecutive hits on prairie dogs at a measured 528 yards. 6mm Rem Ackley Improved I hit a few further out, though I didn't measure. |
